The British Gas Great Swim Series has grown from 20,000 swimmers in 2010 to an anticipated 30,000 people this year. Taking place at five open water venues across the UK, it attracts a whole spectrum of swimmers looking to test themselves in an outdoor environment.
As participant numbers have grown, support has too, with each event's great atmosphere and free attendance attracting thousands of spectators. With events televised on both the BBC and on Channel 4, it's a great way to achieve more in the water with British Gas.
