Charity Energy Contract

Charity Energy Contract is a not-for-profit initiative offering reduced energy bills and support to small charities struggling with the challenges of keeping afloat during the new year.

Through our Charity Energy Contract, we will offer a two year fixed term fixed price agreement for which we make no profit.

Eligibility Criteria

This contract is exclusive for charities that fit into the following criteria

  • Registered charity (charity number required)
  • Must be eligible to sign a new contract with us, and not already tied into a contract with British Gas Business or any other supplier
  • 'Micro business'
  • - Fewer than 10 employees (or their full time equivalent) and an annual turnover or annual balance sheet total not exceeding €2 million, or
  • - annual consumption of up to 55,000 kWh for electricity, or
  • - annual consumption of up to 200,000 kWh for gas

* Customers are eligible for one British Gas Business OWL monitor only, subject to availability. Delivery of the monitor will be within 30 days of the actual fuel supply start date. Monitors are compatible with most meter types.
