Where the appliance description is followed by the words 'Efficiency Estimated' and the rating is shown as 'X', this indicates that the appliance is probably very old and has not been assessed under the SEDBUK methodology. The efficiency has therefore been determined using Table 4b of SAP 2005, the Government's Standard Procedure for Energy Rating of Dwellings.
Where parts are partially withdrawn 'Spare parts for your current boiler are starting to become difficult to find by British Gas, this might mean you have difficulty finding a spare part should something go wrong'. For fully withdrawn parts 'Some spare parts for your current boiler are no longer available to British Gas, this might mean British Gas are unable to repair your boiler should something go wrong'.

*** The notional 4.632 p/kWh has been derived from our Standard tariff Monthly Direct Debit bill at average annual gas consumption of 16,500 kWh, as at 18th August 2011 and includes VAT at 5%. The notional price is based on a national average MDD gas bill (inc VAT) is £764.30, so deriving the average p/kWh based on this industry average level of consumption is 4.632 p/kWh inc VAT.
