When reviewing your Direct Debit payments, we take into account:
- Your likely future energy usage.
- Your current tariff.
- Any existing outstanding balance.
We may feel that, even with the credit balance on your account, your current payments would not be enough to cover your future energy usage.
We always set Direct Debit payments to cover your energy costs for the whole year - including winter when energy costs are usually higher and try to make sure you don't build up too much credit or debit on your account.
