The SmartPlug allows to to control an individual appliance such as a lamp or TV. You can view the energy consumption of these appliances online using the Safe & Secure online dashboard.
The SmartPlug also acts as a repeater for the wireless signal used by the hub to connect to other devices. If one of your devices is out of range, you can use a SmartPlug to extend the wireless reach of the hub to resolve this.
