If you have a problem with your gas fire that you do not feel comfortable attempting to repair yourself, we suggest you book a callout.
Here are some other suggestions for fixing problems with gas fires:
Is the main gas supply turned on?
As a first step, always check that your main gas supply hasn't been turned off - it's easy for this to happen accidentally.
Are you lighting the gas fire correctly?
Check that you're following the right lighting procedure - look in your user manual if you're unsure. If you don't have the manual, try looking for instructions on the appliance - there's usually a small control panel with some instructions on getting it started.
Still not sure?
Check your user manual for more troubleshooting information. If you're not confident you can fix the problem yourself, or feel it could be risky in any way, book a callout.
