You can give us a meter reading at any time. However, if you receive your bills on a quarterly basis we need a meter reading each quarter; this is so we can send you an actual bill rather than an estimated one.
When we need a reading, we will email, text or phone you.

EnergySmart Customers
If you’ve added EnergySmart to your tariff, and receive a bill each month, we ask for a monthly meter reading. You can find out when your next meter reading is due on your “Account summary” page beneath the heading “Your meter readings”.

For safety reasons and as required by law, we will still send an authorised meter reader to inspect your meter from time to time.
