We're committed to being London's leading energy supplier which is why we're not only working to provide Londoners with energy expertise, but we're also involved with schemes such as DIY Insulation with the Mayor's office and London Better Together.

Supporting Our Communities

British Gas is working in partnership with Business in the Community (BITC) as the environmental delivery partner for London Better Together. The aim is to encourage best practice amongst London's businesses. In the summer of 2007, 250 British Gas employees gave their support to 12 projects across the capital for London Better Together Day.

Committing to a greener London

At British Gas we are committed to tackling climate change by minimising our own carbon emissions as a business, as well as helping homes and businesses reduce their carbon footprint too.

As your responsible energy supplier, we believe energy saving starts at home. Our Make It Greener Where You Are campaign was designed to mobilise Londoners into making a Pledge and to find out which boroughs were most committed. We are also sponsoring this years Green Guardian Awards (see www.greenguardian.co.uk )
