Investing in customer service
In order to deliver the service you deserve, we employ over 5,000 individuals in our UK based call centres. Their goals are to answer your calls promptly and offer accurate, relevant help and advice.
We created the British Gas Academy of Customer Excellence in order to encourage best practice and knowledge-sharing. This innovative programme has improved the consistency of our training design and delivery.
Highly qualified engineers
We have also invested heavily in our workforce of over 8,000 highly qualified, CORGI registered engineers. These professionals are trained at our own academy and regularly undergo refresher or higher grade training to ensure that the work we do for you – from installation to repairs and maintenance – is of the highest quality.
