The Energy Saving Trust presents National Energy Saving Week
Posted by British Gas in Our World, Energy

Today marks the start of the Energy Saving Trust's fifteenth annual Energy Savings Week – a whole seven days devoted to raising awareness about green technology and reducing your carbon footprint. While the name of the organisation itself might not be familiar, you've probably come into contact with the Energy Saving Trust before, any time you've purchased a fridge, freezer, washing machine or boiler in the last decade and seen this sticker…
First established in 1993, the EST was set up to provide free advice to people in the UK on how they can reduce their energy bills, use less water and generally lead a greener day-to-day life. They also help people looking to start up their own green energy projects, such as installing solar panels on their roof or a wind turbine in their garden. They are a non-profit organisation supported by both the British government and a group of private energy companies, of which British Gas owner Centrica is a proud member.
This year, the theme of Energy Saving Week is 'Taking Back Control Of Your Bills' and over the next two weeks, in conjunction with British Gas's own 'Start Today' initiative, we're going to be explaining how you can help shave hundreds off your energy bills. Whether it's structural changes to your home, or simply behavioural changes to your everyday routine, the information we provide you with over the next fortnight is there to help you save money and help the world lower its overall carbon footprint.
Why not see how many changes you can make?

You actually make it seem so easy along with your presentation but I in finding this matter to be actually something that I believe I'd never understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very large for me. I'm having a look ahead on your next put up, I will try to get the hang of it!
