British Gas visited the Ideal Home Show earlier this year and it was a roaring success. We have made a video to document our time there and to help explain just how revolutionary our new technologies are in making people more energy aware in their homes.  

Radio DJ Mark Goodier named British Gas “the most popular stand” at the event as the British Gas Smart Team, together with our celebrity ambassadors, showed members of the public and a number of top bloggers the ways in which we’re making it easier to go green. 

On display were Smart Meters, Remote Heating Control, Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions, Solar Paneling and Safe & Secure products. 

All of our visitors were very impressed with the work British Gas were doing and blogger Karen Cannard of www.therubbishdiet.co.uk was particularly taken with the solar paneling on offer. “I think the solar paneling is a way that I would love to go. I’m all for free energy and I’d love that to be our next step at home.”
