Every message of support we receive will be presented to the British Swimming Teams and your words of encouragement could send our Olympic swimmers on their way to winning a gold medal! 

 

Also, if you send your messages of support via Twitter, you could also win an Aquabeat Underwater MP3 player.

 

Every day until 14^th July we’ll be encouraging you to tweet your support with the hashtag #SupportSwimming included. If we get over 50 messages on any one day then everyone who posted a message on that day will be in with a chance to win!

Terms and Conditions

1. 1. No purchase necessary
2. 2. Entry to the BG Show Your Support promotion (the “Promotion”) is via Twitter only. To enter: Tweet your message of support for the British Swimming Teams followed by #SupportSwimming (e.g. Good luck guys! #SupportSwimming). All messages will be collected on our Show Your Support Facebook App on www.facebook.com/BGSwimming and passed directly to the British Swimming Teams at the close of the promotion. If we receive more than 50 tweets of support in a single day then you will be entered into that day’s prize draw. Please note: If 50 tweets of support are not reached on a day there will not be a prize draw on that day.
3. 3. Only 1 entry per day per person is permitted. A Twitter account is required to enter.
4. 4. The promotion closes at 11.59pm on Saturday 14^th July 2012 (the “Closing Date”).
5. 5. To enter the Promotion you must be a resident in the UK, CI or IOM and aged 16 years or older. British Gas reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.   Employees and families of the promoter, its agents and anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter. 
6. 6. There is one prize available per day of the promotion consisting of a Speedo Aquabeat 2.0 2GB MP3 player worth £75 (9 MP3 Players in total). Prize is available only if 50 support messages are received that day.
7. 7. The prize is as stated no cash alternative is available. 
8. 8. The winner will be randomly selected by an independent third party from all eligible entries that day and the will be notified by direct message on Twitter within 14 working days of the Closing Date. Please allow 28 days for delivery of prizes.
9. 9. By entering into the prize draw, you consent to being contacted by the Promoter in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  The Promoter may contact you via email, phone or post in order to:
   1. a. keep you updated about your entry into the prize draw; 
   2. b. provide you with more information about British Gas, its products and services, where you have agreed to this

   5. 12. British Gas accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible or damaged or for technical failures or corrupted entries. Proof of entry does not constitute proof of receipt.
   6. 13. If British Gas is unable to contact the Winner within 14 days of the Closing Date, it reserves the right to award the Prize to another person randomly selected from that day’s eligible entries.
   7. 14. British Gas reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any entry or select alternative Winner(s) in the event that it believes that any entrant has contravened these Terms and Conditions. 
   8. 15. Prizes can not be used in conjunction with any other British Gas offer / promotion. 
   9. 16. British Gas and their agents cannot accept responsibility for the quality of the product, forming part of the Prize. 
   10. 17. British Gas shall not be liable for any failure of any third party to fulfill its contractual obligations although British Gas shall take reasonable steps to try and minimize the effect of any such failures.
   11. 18. British Gas reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside of its control. 
   12. 19. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
   13. 20. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these rules.
