Get paid for generating your own energy

The Feed-In Tariff is a Government scheme to encourage people to generate their own low carbon energy. As well as saving by generating your own electricity, you'll also get paid for the electricity you generate.

How it works

You could be paid for every kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity you generate from a renewable source - even if you use it.

Plus you'll also get paid extra for the electricity you don't use as it'll be fed into the Grid.

Feed-In Tariff means you could be paid for the next 20 years for the electricity you generate from a renewable source. And remember, any payments are in addition to the savings you'll make by not having to buy all your electricity from your supplier.
