Having a smart meter installed in your business doesn't just mean more accurate billing, it can also give you real-time information you can use to make your business more energy efficient and save money.

  • Better energy management: Smart meters have the potential to give you access to valuable usage data. Depending on your energy consumption**, you could be able to view your electricity usage online with our Business Energy Insight™** service.

What is Business Energy Insight?

It's a unique online service for our customers where you'll be able to view an energy dashboard displaying information from your electricity smart meter. Automatically updated every 24 hours, you'll be able to see daily, weekly and monthly usage information displayed in clear graphs to help you compare to previous consumption and identify any trends.

Through the Business Energy Insight website you can also access energy saving tips for your sector and an Energy Advisor tool, giving personalised advice based on your business.

If you would like a smart meter, just sign up and when our engineers are in your area, we'll contact you and you choose a two hour window that best suits you.

If you're a large business, for example, with more than 15 sites or sites associated with your framework agreements covering more than 15 sites, unfortunately you're not eligible for this offer. Please contact your Account Manager to discuss your smart meter requirements in more detail.
