Keeping a check on line is OK but action on commitments made on the phone and answering letters very unsatisfactory. Last year I was offered £100 to return to British Gas, £50 up front and £50 after a year. The second payment was not credited to my account until around sixteen months had elapsed and then only after numerous E-mails and phone calls.
More recently - As my monthly DDs had been increased to fully cover my 'Personal Projection' with no account taken of the fact that I was £245.68 in credit I wrote requesting repayment of overpayment. The letter was sent to the Billing and Payments department on 29 October 2014. It has STILL not been acknowledged.
