David Rizzo
David joined British Gas in 1996 and has worked in departments right across the company. Before this, he worked with various FTSE 100 companies and public sector organisations, including the Welsh NHS and Devon Procurement Partnership.
Since joining Community Energy, David has been key in our winning the NEST contract for the Welsh government's fuel poverty programme. His team is also responsible for the roll out of our micro-generation technologies, gas grid extensions and carbon reduction through CERT and CESP.
Jane Poxon
Jane has been with British Gas for 19 years and is currently head of energy solutions for the central region.
She started her career as a home energy adviser, which included visiting customers at home to help them reduce their fuel bills.
Since then she's helped councils and housing associations to ease fuel poverty and take advantage of all the funding they can get.
Her biggest projects include 'Here to Help', the Low Carbon Building programme for Microgen technologies, numerous schools initiatives and most recently our Green Deal pilot.
Alan Neild-Crabb
Alan leads our Community Energy teams in the north and Scotland and is passionate about building neighbourhoods where people can thrive and prosper.
He believes that creating sustainable jobs in energy efficiency-related industries should be embedded in the implementation of future initiatives such as Green Deal, RHI and ESCO.
Alan is particularly proud of the 23 new jobs created as part of the Wirral Cosy Homes programme. This includes eight new trainee positions for local youngsters just starting their careers.
Ricky Cargen
Ricky started his career in 1984 as an apprentice gas service engineer. For the last 16 years, he's worked in social housing, mostly in domestic mechanical and electrical contracting, until joining Community Energy last year.
Ricky and his team help their social housing clients to reach the Scottish housing quality standard, tackle fuel poverty and cut carbon emissions.
Chris Ronketti
Chris has worked in energy efficiency and renewables since 2007 and is responsible for delivering our award-winning Green Streets project.
He's spent two years working in Canada, doing business development for energy efficiency and renewable technologies, and signing contracts for PV and ground source heat pumps. While there, he designed and ran a scheme to ease fuel poverty in Ontario (the Helping Hand programme) and championed new technologies in the North American markets.
Chris now manages a team of ESMs, delivering CERT, CESP, insulation and renewables programmes to local housing authorities and councils across London and the south east.
Chris is PRINCE 2 qualified and has a diploma in technology for a sustainable future from the Open University. He's currently studying for an MSc in environmental decision making.
