PH Jones on board to help us do more for social housing

We're pleased to announce that British Gas Community Energy has acquired PH Jones Group Ltd, which supplies central heating services to social housing. It means we can now do even more to help social housing providers to cut their residents' energy use, carbon emissions and fuel bills.

PH Jones already installs and repairs central heating for around 250,000 social housing properties in the UK, and installs more than 8,000 central heating systems a year.

Together, we hope to work towards the government's targets to reduce national carbon emissions by 80% before 2050. This goal plays a large part in the forecasted growth in the social housing sector, which today comprises 5 million homes, with increased focus on microgeneration and renewable heating.
