Low Carbon Building Programme

In December 2006, a microgeneration consortium headed by British Gas was announced as an accredited supplier for the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP) Phase 21.

The LCBP Phase 21 is the Department for Energy and Climate Change's £50m capital grant stream for the installation of microgeneration technologies in the public sector, including schools, hospitals, housing associations and charitable organisation.

Our consortium brings together many of the leading technology providers in this sector. We supply microgeneration products offered under the programme with 50% grant funding which has now been extended until April 2011 with an additional investment of £35m. This phase is known as LCBP Phase 2E.
