I have a pay as you go meter and have no gas, what should I do?
If you have a pay as you go meter and have no gas, there are a few checks you can carry out to determine what has happened.

|My meter has switched off||If the meter has switched off then you have run out of emergency credit. Ensure all appliances are switched off. We recommend you top up at least £15 to pay back the emergency credit and have credit available for gas. Once you have topped up, insert the card and follow the on screen instructions.|
|I have credit on my meter and I have an error message||If you have an error message on your meter then you may be able to solve this using our error message help.|
|I have credit on my meter and I have a 'Card Fail' message||If you have this message on your meter then you need a new gas card , find out how to get a new card now.|
