Get set for new Nectar rewards
We’re making some changes to our Nectar loyalty programme over the next few months. And in 2016 it’ll be re-launched as a brand new rewards programme with:
- Exciting offers and giveaways from well known Nectar partners.
- One-off points offers to help boost your Nectar balance.
We’ll be letting our Nectar customers know by letter or email over the coming weeks.
Don’t miss out – make sure we’ve got your email address
If you've registered your Nectar card and already receive emails from us, don’t worry you’ll automatically get our new Nectar reward emails. If not, then all you need to do is register for an online account and add your Nectar card.
What’ll happen to your Nectar points
We’ll stop giving you points in December 2015 for doing things like switching to Direct Debit or booking an engineer visit. Don’t worry though, you’ll still get all the points we owe you this year. And any points you’ve collected, are yours to spend as you like.
We've updated our terms & conditions
If you cancel your contract with us during any year (for example by switching to another energy supplier), you will receive an amount of points based on the number of days you have been with us during that year. Terms apply to the collection of points. See terms & conditions for details.
You'll collect points continuously and they will appear on your account at the rate of 50 points each quarter for each fuel.
You'll collect points continuously and they will appear on your account at the rate of 120 points each quarter for each fuel and will be applied after a meter read is submitted.
You'll collect points continuously and they will appear on your account on each anniversary of linking your Nectar card to your British Gas Account.
Your points will be applied 14 days after your account has been switched to Direct Debit.
