Our comprehensive cover with an annual boiler service
HomeCare 400™ is our most comprehensive HomeCare® package, providing cover for your boiler and controls, central heating, plumbing and drains and home electrics with an annual boiler service, safety and energy efficiency test.
With HomeCare 400™ you'll benefit from
- Repairs to boiler, controls, central heating, radiators, pipework and hot water system.
- Plumbing repairs (hot and cold water pipes, cistern mechanism, repairs to taps, leaking or seized stopcocks).
- Repairs and, or replacement if necessary, to electrical wiring, fuseboards and broken, damaged or faulty electrical fittings within your home and outbuildings.
- Annual service of your boiler with a safety and energy efficiency check.
- Parts and labour.
- Unlimited callouts per contract year.
- Replacing your boiler if it is less than 7 years old and cannot be repaired. Less than 10 years if installed by British Gas and you have had a continuous cover agreement for the life of the boiler.
- Accidental damage.
- Private drain unblocking and repairs (drain pipes from toilets, baths and sinks).
- Costs up to £1,000 (inc VAT) to gain access.
- Emergency priority call for total loss of power or lighting.
There are a few exceptions
- Tap replacement.
- Replacing ceramic discs in taps.
- Shared drains.
- Removing sludge or hard-water scale from the boiler or system.
- System improvements.
- Repairing the parts of the power supply between your home and the outbuildings on your property that are outside of the buildings.
- Shower repair.
- Electrical appliances.
