- Were not given proper info on boiler as we wanted one we could work easily, like the one we had - instead we got some hive thing which was not set up properly -meaning no heat or hot water until it was sorted. My son is excellent on ICT and spent ages trying to sort it only for the guy to say it wasn't set up right in the first place. - when my wife complained she was told she could switch on manually and where was the switch? - climb up above the cooker to reach it - we are in our 60's and wanted a basic clock switch . This was eventually fitted. Salesman did not do job - he did not explain what we were getting - my wife would never have chosen this.- guy doing work was fine .
When we said we did not want to pay for this fancy bit we got a basic on off clock. We got about 48 quid back and the way these guys work I wonder if that was the right amount, as the good worker who came second time told us that we were due much more than this. All they went on about was that we must give them a 9 out of 10 - I assume they are on some bonus to push this type of boiler with hive - not happy with this and feel as I wasn't there, that my wife was pressured into this.
