How it works
Overview
Central Heating is a means of heating your home from one central source - a boiler. The boiler heats water which is then 'pumped' to where it's needed e.g. radiators and a hot water cylinder (if you have a conventional boiler).
You can then operate the system via a set of controls which usually include a clock or programmer, room thermostat and thermostatic radiator valves. These ensure the heating and hot water operate at a suitable time and temperature to ensure your comfort and reduce wastage.
