*The Fixed Price 2011 rates apply until 30th September 2011. Fixed Price 2011 excludes any changes in VAT or changes to discounts applied to your bill. We will honour the Fixed Price 2011 rates unless we are prevented from doing so by the action or anticipated action of any governmental or statutory body. We may withdraw this offer at any time. Subject to availability.
If you cancel the agreement, either by moving to another gas or electricity supplier or requesting to change your gas and/or electricity to another of our tariff(s) at any time prior to 30th September 2011 we may apply a cancellation charge (inclusive of any VAT that may be applicable). The cancellation charges are £30 for electricity and £70 for gas. This charge will not be applied if the agreement is cancelled due to a home move.
Customers already signed up to one of our long term contract offers (for example, Price Protection 2010 or Price Protection February 2009) may register for Fixed Price 2011. However, the relevant contract termination fees may apply.
At the end of the Fixed Price 2011 period we may switch your product(s) to another Price Protected capped or fixed price product if it is available or standard product if it is not.
Excludes Token and Smartcard meters. If you have a Token or Smartcard meter and would like to be eligible for Fixed Price 2011, please contact British Gas and we will exchange your meter free of charge.

Monthly Direct Debit £77 Discount °Gas customers paying by Monthly Direct Debit will receive a discount off their quarterly Tier 2 consumption charges of 0.270 p/kWh, up to a maximum of £12 (including VAT) per quarter. Based on average annual gas consumption of 20,500 kWh as at 30th July 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption.
Electricity customers paying by Monthly Direct Debit or Standing Order will receive a discount off their quarterly Tier 2 consumption charges of 1.429 p/kWh up to a maximum of £10 (including VAT) per quarter. Based on average annual single rate electricity consumption of 3,300 kWh as at 30th July 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption.
Online Discount: £30: † £15 off your electricity bill applies to new domestic electricity customers only who sign up online. This is a one-off reduction on your first electricity bill. Includes VAT at 5%. Offer subject to status.

Dual Fuel: £14: †† A dual fuel discount is given where British Gas supplies both gas and electricity to the same property (and the accounts are in the same names). No dual fuel discount is available to customers with token or smartcard electricity meters. Only one dual fuel discount per property. Where electricity is supplied through a credit meter, a discount of 0.537 p/kWh off quarterly electricity Tier 2 rates (and night rates where applicable) up to a maximum of £3.75 (including VAT) per quarter appears on the electricity bill. Based on average annual single rate electricity consumption of 3,300 kWh as at 30th July 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption.
PAYGE customers only: Fixed Price 2011 is only available if you have an electricity key meter which shows ‘KBD’ on the front. If you don't have this type of meter, contact British Gas and we will exchange your meter free of charge
Any current long-term contract customers, such as Price Protection 2010 who wish to convert onto Fixed Price 2011 may have to incur any cancellation fee associated with that product.
