Future Energy is a new package that helps you to be greener. As a Future Energy customer, we will supply electricity from renewable energy sources to the national grid, on your behalf.

And you’ll help make a difference to the future of renewable energy and help schools in Great Britain reduce their CO₂ emissions, for just an extra £2* a month.

Renewable energy for you

All the electricity you use we will match with electricity from renewable energy sources. This will then be supplied to the national grid, which in turn supplies your home.

Renewable energy for tomorrow

Your £2* a month will be added to your electricity bill and will contribute to the non-profit British Gas Energy for Tomorrow Fund which will invest in developing renewable energy sources and technologies for the future.

It will also help educate children on energy and environmental issues and help schools in Great Britain reduce their CO₂ emissions to become greener.

As part of the British Gas Green Community we will keep you up to date with our latest environmental initiatives and send you updates on how you can reduce your energy consumption, your carbon footprint and your energy bills too.
