# In kg per kWh of electricity supplied to domestic customers by British Gas, compared with the fuel mix disclosure of the other 5 major suppliers.

* The possible £49 discount is achieved as follows:

** £19 Discount

Electricity customers paying by Monthly Direct Debit or Standing Order will receive a discount off their quarterly consumption charges of 4.8%, up to a maximum of £5.20(including VAT) per quarter. Based on average annual single rate electricity consumption of 3,300 kWh as at 18^th January 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption.

Subject to status, and not having an overdue electricity account.

† £15 off your electricity bill

Applies to new domestic electricity customers only who sign up online. This is a one-off reduction on your first electricity bill. Includes VAT at 5%. Pay As You Go Energy™ customers receive a cheque. Offer subject to status.

†† £15 annual dual fuel discount

On your electricity bill when you sign up for both gas and electricity. Includes VAT at 5%. Excludes non-domestic and electricity Pay As You Go Energy™ customers. The £15 discount is applied pro rata on a daily basis.

£58 Discount: Gas customers paying by Monthly Direct Debit will receive a discount off their quarterly consumption charges of 10.3%, up to a maximum of £16.89 (including VAT) per quarter. Based on average annual gas consumption of 20,500 kWh as at 18^th January 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption.
