Click Pay As You Go Energy™ - Terms and Conditions


Your meter tariff will be updated with the Click PAYGE rates within 28 days from your supply start date if you're a new British Gas customer or registration date if you're an existing British Gas customer. However due to industry processes beyond our control it may take up to 3-4 top ups of both gas and electricity after the 28 days in order for the tariff to become effective.

Click PAYGE is only available if you are supplied with both gas and electricity on a prepayment meter by British Gas. If you switch either your gas or electricity to another supplier or to another of our tariffs or you change your meter to a credit meter for either gas or electricity we reserve the right to transfer you onto our current standard variable PAYGE rates for the other fuel.

You must supply us with a current email address. If you change your email address you must let us know via www.britishgas.co.uk/contactus. If you do not do so, we reserve the right to transfer you onto our current standard variable PAYGE rates.

Subject to availability. Click PAYGE rates are variable, subject to change and not available on Smartcard or Token meters. If you have a Smartcard or Token meter, simply give us a call and we will exchange it free of charge.

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions or change the price at any time and will contact you via email to inform you of any changes.
