We are on a fixed price account and now we read our own meters for Gas and Electricity send the figures over the suppliers website and then view the charges online, print a copy and then file them away. Quite happy with this service and we pay by agreed Direct Debits.

The web site is useless, half the time you can't log on, then it tells you the password is incorrect, so you change it, then it tells you that is wrong! this can go on for days ,they never remind you when to give a meter reading and estimate the bill, when you then give a reading they don't bother updating the bill, will seriously consider changing supplier, as they are also one of the most expensive, [ I have been a customer for over twenty years] so this tells you how unhappy I have been with the service received by British Gas, also the last time I signed up to their fix and fall feb 2015 it promised a shopping voucher as an incentive..... I only received this after 5 months and untold phone calls, most of the time being put on hold for up to 50 mins. Expensive is not
always the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
