In order to be fair to all our customers, your renewal price will be based upon where you live, your appliance/system type and breakdown history.

This cover includes

Home electrics

Repairs and, or replacement if necessary, to electrical wiring, fuseboards and broken, damaged or faulty electrical fittings within your home and outbuildings.

Key inclusions

  • Outside security/doorway lighting fitted less than 10 metres above ground level.
  • Rodent damage to wiring (property must not be unoccupied for a continuous period of 4 weeks or more).
  • Repairs to electric door bells (excluding door entry systems), bathroom extractor, fans and smoke alarms connected to the wiring of your home.
  • Parts & labour are included[2] for fitting standard replacement parts. We will replace all fittings with our nearest equivalent standard white plastic, brass or chrome effect fitting unless you give us an alternative to use.

Key exclusions

  • Power supply to out buildings.
  • Design faults and pre-existing problems.
  • System improvements.
  • Damage caused by third party.
  • Electrical appliances (e.g. televisions).
