Replacing your boiler if it is less than 7 years old and cannot be repaired. 10 years if installed by British Gas and you have had a continuous cover agreement for the life of the boiler.

While we do look after many things you'd expect us to, there are a few exceptions

Cosmetic or third party damage
Design or pre-existing faults
System improvements e.g. Adding an additional radiator.
Removal/damage caused by sludge/scale
Tap replacement/shower repairs
Stopcock and water supply pipe to the property
Shared drains
Home electrics

Your questions

Will I get a British Gas engineer if my boiler breaks down?
Usually, although we may authorise a qualified contractor to carry out the work.
Can I apply for boiler cover if my supplier for gas or electricity is not British Gas?
Yes - you do not need to be a British Gas customer or have one of our boilers to apply for one of our cover products.
How many callouts are included within my price?
You have unlimited callouts each agreement year included with your agreement price. You can call our free helpline which is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year - in the event of a breakdown.
However, the amount of times you call us out over the previous two years is one of the many factors that will be taken into account when calculating your price for your agreement renewal price.
What if I change my mind?
We give you 14 days from you receiving your contract to change your mind.
