Our homes are like treasure troves, containing everything that’s important in our lives. From our families to our pets, and of course, our belongings, many of which are simply irreplaceable. When it comes to our homes, there are so many different considerations to make in order to ensure the security of the property itself but also the safety of everyone (and everything) in it.
Needless to say, we can’t always be around to keep an eye on things. Whether we’re away for a few hours or a couple of weeks, things can happen that lie beyond our control and the chances are, the first we know about it is when we return home.
Monitor and control your home in real-time
Safe & Secure is the latest smarter living innovation from us, which allows you to monitor almost every aspect of your home’s safety & security in real-time.
You can monitor and control all of your home’s safety and security devices - ranging from smoke, water and carbon monoxide detectors, through to motion sensors, SmartPlugs and panic buttons - via an online dashboard, whilst also receiving alerts via email and SMS.
Being wireless, this product is simple to install and use. No wires are required to install the devices and you can activate or deactivate the intruder alarm using a keyfob similar to your car’s alarm.
The dashboard can be accessed via your computer or smartphone using the free myHome app available through the App store and Google Play store.
Giving you the time to act
The key benefit of Safe & Secure is that it gives you the time you need to act – whether it’s rushing home from work, getting in touch with a neighbour or calling the emergency services.
It’s also possible to set the system up so that it sends alerts to you, your friends and family, allowing you to customise which alerts they receive and for which incident type.
The Safe & Secure home monitoring system comes as a basic security “starter kit” that includes everything you need to get your system up and running (a wireless hub, two key fobs, two motions sensors, a contact sensor and a decoy siren).
Depending on the size of your property, there is the option to buy additional devices, as well as devices such as pet friendly motion sensors, indoor and outdoor sirens, smoke, water and carbon monoxide detectors, and panic buttons.
Safe & Secure is available now and the starter kit retails at just £199. Surely a small price to pay for total peace of mind…
