Powering positive change through sport
Nothing brings people together quite like sport. That's why we've partnered with some of the UK's most iconic sporting organisations – including the Women's Super League, Team GB, ParalympicsGB, Scotland Rugby and the Scottish FA – to champion a more sustainable and inclusive future for everyone.
Creating positive change through football
We've partnered with the Scottish FA to help create a more inclusive and sustainable future for football in Scotland. Together, we're investing in communities, supporting clubs to reduce their carbon impact, and helping more young people of all abilities access the game.
One of the ways we're making a difference is through free football holiday camps. These camps provide children with opportunities to stay active, develop new skills and enjoy free meals during the school holidays. To date, more than 12,500 children across Scotland have taken part.
We're also working with Scottish Para-Football to create more opportunities for disabled players, helping ensure football is a game everyone can enjoy.
Beyond the pitch, we're celebrating the clubs, fans and communities at the heart of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup through ticket giveaways, school visits, matchday experiences and exclusive customer rewards.

Women’s Super League Football
We've teamed up with the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL) to help grow the women's game and bring fans and families closer to the action.
We focus on getting more people to matches and engaging both new and existing fans. Like our 'Warmest Welcome', where we gave three families the chance to go to their first BWSL game with former Lioness Jill Scott.
We also run regular ticket giveaways, giving thousands of fans the chance to enjoy BWSL and BWSL2 matchdays.
And it doesn't stop at the stadium. With over 92 matches played during our PeakSave Sundays, fans at home could enjoy all the action with half-price electricity.
Scottish Rugby Union
We’re a Principal Partner of Scottish Rugby, and we're working to make the game more sustainable and inclusive for the future of Scottish rugby. That starts with helping over 130 clubs reduce their energy use, including turning Scottish Gas Murrayfield into a flagship for energy efficiency.
We're supporting this with a £2 million Club & Community Net Zero Fund to help clubs become more sustainable. We're also backing the women's game as front-of-shirt sponsor of the Scotland Women's Team, helping grow the sport from grassroots to elite level.
At the same time, we're improving the fan experience at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Our 'Cosiest Seats in the Stadium' offer extra comfort and inclusive food and drink.
Proud partners of Team GB and ParalympicsGB
Through our partnership with Team GB and ParalympicsGB, we're also helping people across Britain save energy while supporting athletes on their journey to LA 2028.
Together, we run the Get Set for Positive Energy programme. It helps school pupils take simple steps to save energy, build lasting habits and imagine a more sustainable future. In 2026, the programme is expanding with new content featuring Olympian Matt Weston and a bigger national roadshow.
We're also supporting grassroots clubs through our Energy for Tomorrow initiative, helping them improve energy efficiency. Five clubs took part in the first year, with eight more joining in year two – creating a lasting impact on community sport in the lead-up to LA 2028.
