Typically your booking code will be 7 characters long and may begin with a letter e.g. A123456 or 1234567.


You can find this on the letter or email you have received from us about your annual service visit.

If you have received a letter or email reminding you to book your annual service visit online, the code you need will be contained within the main content of the correspondence. This will be called your "booking code" and will not be the same as your British Gas account number.

If your reminder correspondence has been misplaced and you didn't make a note of your booking code, you can simply log in to your online account or register for an online account and book your exclusive 2 hour appointment from there.

If you haven't yet received a letter or email reminding you to book your annual service visit, then you may not be due to book yet. To check if you are due to book, you can simply log in to your online account or register for an online account to view the current status.

You don't need to register for an account to book an annual service online, so long as you have your booking code (which we send to you via letter or email when the annual service visit is due) and you know the postcode for the property.
