Help meeting your CRC commitments

If you qualify for the CRC scheme, we can provide a statement of supply including site details and consumption for all the supply points you request. The first step is to download the request form:

Carbon Reduction commitment Form.xls
Download your CRC request form (87KB).

For help with the form, follow the CRC guidelines on the  Environment Agency website.

When the form’s complete, email it to us at

We’ll start processing your statement as soon as we can. This usually takes about six weeks.

Third-party requests

A third party, such as a consultant, can request a statement of supply on your behalf. We just need a valid letter of authority from you when a request is made.

If you’re a third party requesting a statement of supply for several organisations, then an individual request form will need to be completed for each one.

What’s the Carbon Reduction Commitment?

Incentives for lower business emissions

The Carbon Reduction Commitment is a UK government mandatory scheme for high energy users that aims to cut emissions by 1.2 million tonnes of carbon a year by 2020.

This helps to support the country’s target of an 80% reduction in UK carbon emissions by 2050.

To achieve this, high energy users in both the private and public sectors have incentives to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

The lower their emissions, the lower the cost of CRC to their business.
