'10/10 for service and price! The experience I received with British Gas was spot on! I received an email informing me of the different offers on air conditioning. On contacting British Gas they arranged a survey for the next day and a quote followed almost immediately. I accepted the quote and my installation was planned in for the following week. The engineers were great, arriving at 8am as we agreed, and the install was completed that day. I can’t fault anything. Great work!. Speedy service and very competitively priced products'.

Most air conditioning systems will be made up of individual indoor and outdoor units. Both indoor and outdoor units contain coils and fans. They’re connected in a loop with tubing containing refrigerant and a compressor that squeezes the refrigerant entering the outside unit. Your indoor unit works by moving air and absorbs heat into the refrigerant in this coil.
The refrigerant is then circulated outside through your outdoor unit. An air conditioner system doesn't add cool air, it removes heat from the air and blows it outside.
Making sure both your indoor and outdoor units are well maintained helps to make sure your air conditioning system is running efficiently and safely.

If you run a business with an air conditioning system, then it's important to get the system regularly checked. Each air con unit should be inspected, cleaned, and serviced at least once a year. Making sure your air conditioning is leak tight is mandatory under F Gas legislation. A leaking system is inefficient and even a small loss of refrigerant can reduce energy efficiency. Your service should be completed by a specialist F-gas registered HVAC engineer. Regular servicing will help:
From just £15 a month we can offer a service and repair contract for your business air con. Get the peace of mind that if there's a problem, we'll be there to fix it.
