Boiler and central heating care. System Service Plus

Keep your whole heating system working safely and efficiently with an enhanced service by one of our engineers.

What is a System Service Plus?

We recommend booking a boiler service every year to keep it in great condition. But there are other parts of your heating system that sometimes need expert maintenance too.

That’s when a System Service Plus can really help. We’ll check everything from your boiler and hot water tank to pipework and radiators – to make sure your home is being heated as comfortably, safely and cost-effectively as possible.

Long-lasting protection for your heating

Every System Service Plus includes an inhibitor as standard. Worth £46, this special liquid is circulated round your heating system to prevent corrosion and blockages. It’s a simple and effective way of increasing the lifespan of your whole central heating system.

Extra checks for complete peace of mind

With a System Service Plus, your engineer will inspect all the important areas that can impact the long-term performance of your heating system.

Radiators and pipes – are there any signs of leaking or corrosion that could become major problems later on?

System flow and return – by testing the flow and return temperatures, we’ll assess the whole system’s efficiency.

System feed & expansion vessel – we’ll check for leaks that can develop into damp, staining and structural damage.

Water quality – we’ll test the water in your heating system to make sure it’s not causing corrosion or scale build-up.

Hot water cylinder – our proactive checks help prevent unexpected breakdowns and system failures.

PLUS – all the essential checks of a standard boiler service, including combustion analysis and inspection of gaskets and seals.

How to get a System Service Plus

To upgrade to a System Service Plus, just ask your engineer during your service visit. You’ll be charged an extra £65, which includes inhibitor that costs £46 when bought separately. The enhanced checks will take around 45 minutes.
