Five steps to test your boiler
1. Check your boiler's pressure. It should be between 1 and 1.5 bar.
2. Turn the heating on. Let it run for 15 minutes.
3. Listen out. Any unusual noises or faults could mean something's wrong.
4. Check your radiators. They should be getting hot to the top.
5. Test your thermostat. Turn it up and down and make sure the heating responds.
Finally, leave your heating on for a little bit to make sure everything's working properly. If it’s too warm today, give it a try on a cooler evening.
