What can I do if my gas cooker isn't working properly?

First check your appliance manual or the manufacturer's website to see if you can find out what the problem is and how to fix it. If that doesn't work, try the steps below.

Make sure the cooking timers aren't set to 'auto'
Make sure you're doing the right things to light it
If there's a lid, make sure you're lifting it fully when you light the hob
Try switching the oven temperature to full for a short time
Make sure you're not using pots and pans that are too large or heavy for the hob

What can I do if my oven fan is unusually noisy?

Make sure the shelves and fixings are in the right place, so they're not rattling when the oven fan is running. If this doesn't fix it, then you might need to book one of our engineers online.

Why is my oven cooking too quickly or slowly?

If your food isn't cooking properly it's because the temperature is different to the setting on your oven:

Make sure your shelves are in the correct position
Make sure you're not using an oversized pan or tray
