Your tariff end date will be shown on the first page of your bill towards the bottom. You can download a bill in your online account.
Tariff coming to an end?
We’ll email or write to you before your fixed tariff comes to an end with information on what to do next and the best options for you. If you want to have a look before then, take a look at our switching tariffs page.
How do I switch to British Gas from my current energy supplier?
Switching is easy, just get a quote and pick your tariff. We’ll take care of the rest by contacting your current supplier and switching you over. The whole process takes 3-5 days at most. We’ll let you know when the switch has happened and when to send us your first meter reading.
How do I switch between tariffs if I'm already a customer?
If you’re already with us, then it’s quick and easy to change to a new tariff. It’ll take us 24 hours to switch you over, and you won’t have to pay any exit fees.
