How to enter your top up code

• Press and hold the right-hand button.
• The screen will now display ‘prepay’.
• Press and hold the right-hand button to enter the top up menu.
• Then press and hold the right-hand button again to enter the "UTRN screen".
• Press and hold the right-hand button to scroll through the digits.
• Press the right-hand button to enter the digit.
• When all digits are entered press and hold the right-hand button to enter the vend code and the screen will display 'wait'.
• The screen will display ‘Done’ with the new meter balance.
• The vend code is now on the meter.

How to turn your electricity back on

If you run out of credit, your electricity will switch off. To turn it back on, you can top up or use emergency credit. For safety, you need to confirm you're ready for the electricity to start up. To turn your electricity back on:

• Press the right-hand button to scroll through the menu.
• When you reach the ‘armed hold ok to enable’ screen press and hold the right-hand button.
• The screen will then change and ‘Enabled’ will appear.
• The supply will now be on.

How to activate Emergency Credit

If you can't top up your meter for any reason, you have access to £10 of Emergency Credit. Once used, you need to pay back everything you've spent. We will deduct the amount owed from your next top up. Please note that sometimes the amount owed will be more than £10. This is because your meter may be due standing charges or debt you're repaying at a weekly amount.

• When emergency credit is available the emergency credit symbol on the meter will be lit. This is an E in a circle underneath the meter screen.
• Also the screen will display EMGCY. CREDIT and HOLD RETURN in rotation.
• To access the emergency credit, you need to press and hold the return button.
• This is the left hand button on the front of the meter it has a small return symbol underneath it.
• The screen will then display EMCRD and show you the amount activated.
• Emergency credit is now active on the meter.
