Our engineer will look at your boiler and central heating. If it's possible to repair, we'll fix the fault, including any directly related problems, no matter how much time it takes.
If the original fault was a broken boiler, any unrelated faults, such as a leaking radiator, we'd provide a separate quote for each repair.
We'll then cover future repairs to your boiler and heating system for 12 months.
If we can't cover your boiler due to parts not being available, we’ll cancel the cover, and the engineer will let you know about other chargeable options.

What's not included

Get a video consultation with an expert engineer to diagnose the problem and help you to fix it. If we need to visit, you’ll get £30 credit towards the repair.
This is a chargeable service for new customers. If you’re an existing HomeCare customer, book a repair here.
Simple boiler and heating problems can be fixed by having a video call with our expert engineers. All you need to do is request an appointment, and one of our engineers will arrange a call at a time convenient to you, for just £30. You’ll be able to speak to an engineer about the problem and can even show them the issue. If it’s possible to fix the problem during the call, you’ll be guided through the steps.
If the engineer can’t fix the problem during the video call, then you have the option to book an engineer repair visit to your home. The £30 video call payment will be deducted from the repair cost.

How much you’ll pay will depend on how long it takes to fix your repair and where you live.
One of our expert engineers will take a look at your boiler and central heating and give you a quote to repair them. If you're happy with the quote, our engineer will start the repair. If you decide not to go ahead, you'll only be charged for 30 minutes of the engineer's time. What happens if you can't fix my problem?
It’s up to you. Our engineer will tell you straightaway and talk you through your options. If you decide not to go ahead with the work, you won’t be charged.
What happens if you find more than one problem?
Your quote is only for the work we've already agreed with you. If it’s related to the original problem, we’ll repair it as part of our fixed price. If there are any unrelated faults, for example if you’ve called us about a leaking pipe but ask us to fix a blocked drain, we'll provide a separate quote for each repair. We’ll then cover future repairs to your plumbing and drains for 12 months.
What if I still have questions about repairs?
Just give us a call on 0333 202 9567. We’re here all day, every day to help. We may record calls to help improve our service to you. Calls to 0330/0333 numbers will cost you no more than 01 or 02 numbers from landlines or mobiles. If you get 'inclusive minutes' with your package, calls to 0330/0333 numbers will be part of these.
And if I want to cancel?
If we haven’t started work on your boiler, you have a 14-day cooling-off period beginning the day we deliver any parts OR the day you accept our quote (assuming the job needs labour, but no extra parts). If you’ve asked us to start the work before the 14-day cooling-off period finishes, we’ll charge you for the work we’ve already done and any parts we’ve installed for you. If you’ve gone for the Fix for Free option and you want to cancel your cover, you'll have a cooling-off period of 14 days from the day the cover starts or, if later, the day you receive your policy documents. You may have to pay a £115 cancellation fee if we’ve already carried out any repairs.
What should I do if I already have HomeCare?
If you already have HomeCare, you can go ahead and book your repair from your online account. You don’t need to choose the repair and cover or the one-off repair options.
Prices may vary depending on where you live.
A Fix for Free is only provided if you purchase ongoing cover for 12 months at £25 a month. It’s subject to a £115 cancellation fee.
Ongoing cover at £25 a month is subject to our standard terms and conditions.
