New Jobs Announced – Case Study - James Ellerby, Edinburgh

James applied to Scottish Gas, and after successfully completing an assessment and passing an interview, secured a position as a Customer Service Advisor.

“Coming from a service-background I was initially apprehensive about how I’d fit in back on shore, but my colleagues and managers have all been really welcoming and helpful. It’s a great working atmosphere.

“In the short time I've been with Scottish Gas I’ve already become aware of the wide variety of opportunities available to progress with the company.

“In the future I hope to be able to continue to develop my skills and take advantage of the opportunities Scottish Gas offers to build a long-term career.
