New Boiler Energy Bill Credit Offer Terms and Conditions
This offer is available only to customers who:
- Are specifically contacted or selected by British Gas for this promotion
- Purchase a new boiler from British Gas (via online or in-home sales channels) during the offer period
- Are on any British Gas tariff during the promotional periodThe offer is not transferrable or available to customers who do not meet all criteria above.
The offer is valid from 18th August to 1st September 2025 and open to customers who generate a quote or book an appointment within the offer dates; the appointment and boiler installation can take place after the offer end date.
Credit Application:
- A £200 credit will be applied to the customer’s British Gas energy account within 60 days of successful boiler installation and confirmation of energy tariff being live
- The credit will be applied as a one-time credit on the customer’s energy billLimitations:
- One £200 energy credit per household
- Offer cannot be combined with any other energy or boiler promotions unless explicitly stated

What is the energy bill credit offer about?
We’re offering a £200 energy bill credit to British Gas Energy customers who purchase a new boiler from us. The offer is open from 18th August to 1st September 2025.
Who is eligible for the offer?
The offer is open to British Gas Energy customers who receive a letter or email from British Gas inviting them to buy a boiler (in home or online) during the offer period.
Do I have to switch energy supplier or tariffs to qualify?
No, you do not need to switch tariffs to get the offer, but you need to have an active British Gas Energy account (variable or fixed) at the time of your boiler installation to receive the bill credit.
What happens if I switch energy supplier before the boiler is installed?
If you switch to another energy provider before your boiler is installed, you will not be eligible for the £200 energy credit.
How will the £200 be applied to my account?
Once your boiler is installed and you remain a British Gas energy customer, the £200 will be applied as credit to your energy account within 60 days after your installation and you’ll see it reflected on your next energy bill. Dual fuel customers will receive the credit in one of their accounts (usually the electricity account).
Customers with a prepayment meter will be credited as follows; Smart Meters - Customers will have their credit directly applied to their account. Non-Smart Meters – Credit will normally be applied onto their top up method when they top up. The customer may need to; i ) top up more than £5, ii) top up with the same vendor on 2 separate occasions for the Credit to appear on their meter. The credit will show on a line item on the annual statement
Do I need to do anything to claim the offer?
No extra steps are needed. If you’re a British Gas energy customer at installation and you purchase the boiler during the offer period using the QR code or URL link in the letter sent to you from British Gas, the credit will be applied automatically.
Can I get both the energy credit and another boiler discount?
Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. You will only be eligible for one offer per boiler purchase.
What if I cancel my boiler installation?
If you cancel your boiler installation or switch energy suppliers before the installation date, you won’t receive the energy credit.
Does my home visit need to take place during the offer period?
No, if you book your appointment within the offer period, you qualify—even if the visit takes place after the 1st of September 2025.
What if my boiler quote is valid beyond the offer period?
If you receive your quote during the offer period, you’ll still qualify if you accept the quote within its 28-day validity window.
