About our HomeCare® packages

We won’t charge you for individual call outs and it's up to you whether or not you include your annual boiler service.

All our packages have boiler breakdown cover. But you can upgrade to lots of other HomeCare® options to include things like central heating, home electrics, plumbing and drain cover, too.

If you are an existing energy customer, and logged in to your British Gas online account, the prices you see will be inclusive of the Energy Customer Discount (ECD). The ECD is exclusive to customers who have energy with us when they purchase or renew a 12 month HomeCare® insurance contract. It does not apply to non-insurance HomeCare® service agreements, British Gas Home Insurance products and Glazing, locks, roof and pests insurance. The discount will be applied either annually or monthly, depending on how you pay. The discount will show as a credit on your statement under 'How your payments are broken down'. Only one ECD of a maximum of £12 is available per household in any 12 month period. Please consult your statement and HomeCare® terms & conditions to see which products you have. We reserve the right to withdraw the ECD in the future without notice.

I pay a lot of money for my homecare plan each month but for a lady on my own it is well worth it. I have called out an engineer many times over the years, a few ups and downs on the way but on the whole very happy with the service.

It would be nice if you did not quote for things which people need to be so high, you quoted me £8,ooo for electrical installation, as i was told all i needed was the fuse box changing and most of the plugs change, i was told that i did not need the work that you had quoted for. i had the work down i got an up to date fuse box plugs change a new light in the bathroom and an construction, inspection and testing, plus an installation CERTIFICATE. and the work took 3 days from 9am to 6pm none stop, and i feel safe now and it did not cost what you was asking for. thank you . i would recommend you but not for big installation which people has to pay for them self.
