Electrical emergency
If you've got an electrical emergency or you lose power, you'll need to contact your electricity network operator.
In the event of an electrical emergency or power outage please call 105 to be put through to your local electricity network operator. 105 is a free service, available from most landlines and mobile phones in England, Scotland and Wales.
You can also report your power cut online.

Gas emergency services
Please call the free 24-hour National Gas Emergency Service number immediately:
If you:
- Can smell gas
- Think you have a gas leak
- Are worried about carbon monoxide fumes
Do:
- Open all doors and windows manually, even if there are electrical security entry phones or locks
- Put out any naked flames
Don't:
- Turn any electrical switches on or off
- Put on your gas hob, smoke, strike any matches or do anything that could ignite the gas
