Pay your invoice by debit or credit card
If the invoice isn’t available in your online account, this could be due to:
Your invoice is already paid
Your invoice is for a service that isn’t currently available to pay online. We’re working to improve this for the future
Pay your bill by debit or credit card
You can pay on the phone using your debit or credit card. You’ll need to have your customer reference number to hand.
Just call our HomeCare team and we’ll take your payment over the phone.
Pay your bill by Direct Debit
You can set up a new Direct Debit or modify an existing one over the phone.
First, make sure you have everything you need:
Your British Gas Customer Reference Number
Your bank sort code and account number
The day of the month you’d like to pay
Pay your bill by post
Drop us a cheque in the post, as we can’t take cash. Payments take about five working days to reach us but allow extra time during busy periods and holidays.

Make it payable to us: British Gas Services
Put your British Gas Customer Reference Number on the back
Get your payment slip from your bill
Send your cheque and payment slip to British Gas Services Area 59 (Parseq), PO Box 345, Sheffield, S98 1EL.*
