Offer is exclusive to new HomeCare customers who are not existing British Gas Home Insurance customers, Gas Appliance Cover, Kitchen Appliance Cover customer or tenants. Home Insurance cover subject to Terms and eligibility criteria it can be withdrawn at any time. Customers must purchase both buildings and contents insurance to be eligible for the offer. To benefit from the Home Insurance fixed premium, you will have to agree to a £100 compulsory excess and £250 voluntary excess. Customers will need to purchase HomeCare online or by phone between the 31st August and 27th September 2021. Your Home Insurance fixed premium quote needs to be accepted and purchased by 31st December to benefit from the fixed premium. In order to be eligible for the Home Insurance fixed premium, customers have to keep their HomeCare agreement for 12 months.
British Gas reserves the right to cancel the Home Insurance policy if the above condition has not been met. Following the HomeCare purchase, we will set up an online account for you and we will send an email containing a link and a voucher code. How to claim the Home Insurance: To redeem the Home Insurance offer, follow the link, log into your online account and purchase via the British Gas Home Insurance website, using the voucher code provided. Your code should not be shared. If we find evidence of your unique code being misused, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer and cancel your Home Insurance policy. To participate in the Refer a Friend scheme, both Referrer and Friend must follow the instructions on our website, britishgas.co.uk. A Referrer must successfully identify as an existing British Gas home energy or services customer via their online account. A Friend is an individual the Referrer knows personally, who isn’t already our customer and who is happy to receive the Referrer’s Referral link.
To qualify for a Refer a Friend Amazon.co.uk Gift Card, as a Friend you must use the Referrer’s unique Referral link when joining British Gas on a Qualifying Product via britishgas.co.uk. The gift card is subject to the Friend’s Qualifying Product purchase and the Friend’s contract or policy must be active at least 60 days after the supply start date or the policy start date. The gift card Reward may take up to three months to arrive from the Friend joining British Gas.
To qualify for a Reward for switching energy to British Gas, your Friend must not have held a British Gas energy contract within the last three months of joining. To qualify for a Reward for joining services, your Friend must not have held a British Gas services account within the last three months of joining. If after making a Qualifying Purchase your Friend cancels their agreement with us up to 60 days after the supply start date or the policy start date, then this will result in the cancellation of the Reward for the Friend and Referrer. We also require a valid email address to send you your gift card.
