Every one of our British Gas boiler engineers is Gas Safe (formerly CORGI) registered and has been trained at our award-winning academy.
Combination Boiler
Combination gas boilers – or "combi boilers" as they are more commonly known - account for over half of all the new domestic boilers installed in Britain every year. They are popular because you don’t require a hot water cylinder or water tank – that means you don’t need to give up your attic or airing cupboard to be a boiler room!
A combi gas boiler only heats up hot water as and when you need it – that saves you money on your energy bill and means hot water comes through your taps or shower at mains pressure.
Heat Only Boiler
Also known as "regular" boilers, these are the traditional type of gas boiler that heats a store of hot water in a cylinder. Don’t be mislead by the name – they also supply hot water and are great for properties with high hot water usage.
System Boiler
System Boilers also use the principle of stored hot water. Boilers in this category differ from Heat Only gas boilers as the heating and hot water components are built in – that makes installation easier, quicker and neater.
