British Gas was electric at Energy Live 2015

Van charge point

The conference which was attended by Energy Minister Andrea Leadsom, is a key event in the energy sector. As with previous years, the event was popular with energy users of all sizes from across the UK.

The agenda for the day was packed, including 20 different seminars across four content streams, with key speakers sharing their views on the changing policy landscape and providing a real insight into the UK energy world. Andrea Leadsom opened the event by talking about what the government has in mind for the energy sector. Watch her speech here.

Our energy consultants were in attendance, offering advice on energy supply and how to help reduce energy consumption. We think it’s key to help Britain’s businesses reduce their energy demand today and help secure energy supply for tomorrow.

We also took the opportunity to showcase our electric vehicles, and offered delegates the chance to test drive a Nissan Leaf from our fleet.
