If you're renting, selling or building a commercial property, you'll need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). An EPC rates the building's energy efficiency using grades from A to G. From 2018, rental properties in England and Wales must have at least a band E rating to meet the legal minimum energy efficiency standard.
